Terms of Sales
These General Conditions of Sales constitute a legal Agreement between the Client,, and the Photographer, Lauren's Lumo Photography (Business Registration Number: 3452398-5). For additional information, please contact the Photographer via the “Contact” tab on the website (www.laurenslumophotography.com) or by email at contact@laurenslumophotography.com.
1. Pricing
All prices include VAT.
The session can be paid in installments.
Session fees are due at the time of booking.
The complete digital gallery fee is due after the shooting.
Additional products such as canvas, panoramic hodgepodges, wood photo boxes with print holder, little books, can be ordered separately and payment is due at the order.
2. Reservation
Sessions can be reserved at any time, subject to the Photographer's availability.
Session fees must be paid at the time of booking, online by credit card or bank transfer.
The appointment date will only be confirmed upon receipt of these fees.
3. Date of the Session for newborn photography
Clients must notify the Photographer of the newborn's birth within 48 hours. The Photographer will offer at least two different slots on two different dates.
If the birth announcement is not made in time, the Photographer cannot guarantee a slot within the first three weeks of the baby's life.
4. Cancellation by the Client
No refunds will be given for cancellations by the Client for any reason. This policy covers the loss of a session.
In the event of force majeure (limited to premature birth, bed rest, illness, accident, epidemic), the session will be rescheduled in a more convenient date.
For waiting time session, if the baby arrives before the scheduled session, a credit will be issued and valid for one year for a newborn/family session.
In the event of a terminated pregnancy, all payments will be refunded.
5. Modification
Any requests for changes (date, location, postponement) must be made no later than 7 days before the initial session date, except in cases of force majeure. The session must be rescheduled within 3 months of the original date, subject to the Photographer's availability.
6. Delay
Clients must notify the Photographer of any delays by email.
7. Payment
Payments can be made by credit card, MobilePay, or bank transfer.
Sessions can be paid in installments (2 or 3 payments).
8. Gift Cards
Gift cards are neither exchangeable nor refundable. The recipient must contact the Photographer to schedule the session based on the Photographer's availability.
Gift cards have no expiration date.
9. Free Session
For free sessions, the Client agrees without reservations that the Photographer can use and distribute the photographs for promotional purposes (website, business cards, blog, Facebook, Instagram, advertising, books, demo products, contest, etc).
10. Right to Use Photographs
Unless otherwise specified in the present Contract, the Photographer retains the right to use images captured during the photo session. This includes the publication of photos on the Photographer's website, social media channels, and any promotional materials such as business cards or flyers. The Photographer may also submit images to photography contests.
The Client authorizes the Photographer to take pictures of the Client and, if applicable, the Client's child(ren), the Client’s home, premises, goods, etc, for the need of the shooting.
The Photographer agrees not to use the photographs in a manner that could infringe upon privacy or damage the reputation of the Client. The photographs will not be used for any pornographic, racist, xenophobic, or otherwise harmful exploitation.
The Client acknowledges full satisfaction with the granted rights and waives any claim for remuneration related to the exploitation of the said rights. The Client guarantees that there is no exclusive contract in place concerning the use of their image or name.
Clients have free usage rights for personal use, including displaying at home, sharing with relatives, and posting on social media. When possible, credit the Photographer (Lauren’s Lumo Photography) is appreciable.
11. Presentation of Photographs
A private, password-protected gallery will be created within approximately 8 days after the session.
The gallery will remain active for 7 days, after which a €50 fee is charged to reactivate it for an additional 7 days. Clients must download all photographs it is entitled to according to the offer chosen, within this period.
12. Delivery of Products
Orders to suppliers are placed on the 15th of each month (or the next working day) after photo editing, delivery times vary from 1 month to 1.5 months. The Photographer will notify you of the availability of your products and arrange delivery to your home.
13. Printing Photos
If Clients wish to print their own products using the digital files, the Photographer is not responsible for the quality of the prints.
14. Force Majeure or Illness of the Photographer
The Photographer reserves the right to cancel or postpone a session or delay photo delivery due to Force Majeure, illness, accident, family issues, or Client disputes. Such cancellations do not incur liability or damages. The session will be rescheduled if possible. If not, session fees will be refunded.
15. Accidents and Technical Problems
In the event of an accident or technical issue preventing the Photographer from delivering the work, the full-service fee will be refunded, without liability for damages.
16. Intellectual Property
Commercial use of photographs must be specified in the contract. Unauthorized use of photographs constitutes copyright infringement.
17. Image Rights
The Photographer retains ownership of the photographic works. Modifications to the images (cropping, color changes, photomontage, insertion or deletion of elements, text, etc.) are not allowed without the Photographer's consent.
18. Sponsorship Card
The Photographer will give 4 sponsorship cards after every shooting. The Client can give these cards to 4 different new Customers.
The new Customer will get 30€ discount for any shooting.
The existing Client could get 30€ discount per new Client, that is to say he could get 120€ discount (30x4) to spend for a shooting (the sponsorship cards can be accumulated for the existing Client).
